Maximianus, first reign, 286-305. Follis (Bronze, 27 mm, 8.75 g, 6 h), Treveri, circa 303-1 May 305. IMP MAXIMIANVS P AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Maximianus to right. Rev. GENIO POPVLI ROMANI / S - F / PTR The Genius of the Roman people standing front, head to left, holding patera in his right hand and cornucopiae in his left. RIC 574. A beautiful example with a very attractive, sharply struck portrait. Retoned and with very minor weakness on the reverse, otherwise, good extremely fine.
